Spatial Behavioural Simulation of Mechanical Objects

چکیده

The paper presents a computational method for spatial behavioral simulation of moving mechanical objects. The developed software is able to handle both two-dimensional and threedimensional objects whose geometric models are imported from commercialized CAD systems through STEP files. Kinematical description of various objects is unified, stationary obstacles and moving bodies are treated in the same way. For spatial behavioral simulation objects and obstacles can be arbitrarily configured in the space, their pre-collision movement, frictioninfluenced and friction-free collisions on the obstacles are computed, together with the postcollision trajectories of movement. The spatial behavioral simulation has been applied to solve an industrial problem: namely, spatial positioning of moving objects without using extra energy.

Variable Structure Behavioural Controller for Multi-agent Systems

In previous papers authors have considered agents as inertia-less self driven particles and designed a flocking algorithm. Application of this algorithm to agents with considerable inertial characteristics needs a behavioural controller. The controller uses the local information and helps every agent to imitate the desired behaviour as a member of the flocking frame which covers the main is...

Grasp analysis of a four-fingered robotic hand based on Matlab simmechanics

The structure of the human hand is a complex design comprising of various bones, joints, tendons, and muscles functioning together in order to produce the desired motion. It becomes a challenging task to develop a robotic hand replicating the capabilities of the human hand. In this paper, the analysis of the four-fingered robotic hand is carried out where the tendon wires and a spring return me...

Transparent Modelling Of Objects’ Evolution

Supporting behavioural changes and in particular unanticipated ones is essential for achieving the behavioural evolution of objects. Object evolution is an important feature for war game simulation systems. This is the case because a unit’s behavioural landscape may be altered during the course of a simulation either by virtue of the simulation itself of by user intervention. For instance, an a...

Modeling and Wrench Feasible Workspace Analysis of a Cable Suspended Robot for Heavy Loads Handling

Modeling and Wrench feasible workspace analysis of a spatial cable suspended robots is presented. A six-cable spatial cable robot is used the same as Stewart robots. Due to slow motion of the robot we suppose the motion as pseudostatic and kinetostatic modeling is performed. Various workspaces are defined and the results of simulation are presented on the basis of various workspaces and app...

Neurotoxic lesions of the perirhinal cortex do not mimic the behavioural effects of fornix transection in the rat.

The effects of perirhinal (Prh) and fornix (Fx) lesions were compared on a series of spatial and nonspatial memory tests. These tests included delayed nonmatching-to-position in an operant chamber, a spatial (lever) discrimination and its subsequent reversals, delayed spatial alternation in a T-maze, and an object recognition memory test using both normal objects and "re configured' objects. As...
